The semester started a few weeks ago, which means my life has been a little bit crazy. Until I get my schedule under control again, I will have to forego a new post (planning on having something new up by this weekend). But I did find a little bit of time this past weekend for some baking and a short guest post on a friend’s blog! Enjoy!
No-bake Smore’s Tartlets!
I love nutella. So much so that I rarely buy it for myself because 1) it’s expensive and 2) I can polish off an entire jar in less than 48 hours. I could probably put nutella on almost anything and think that it’s appetizing (nutella + wasabi? sounds delicious to me.). It never occurred to me that I could make nutella at home! But Thursday, while taking an internet surfing break while working, I found this amazing recipe on one of my new favorite food blogs, The Kitchn. I immediately added the ingredients to the grocery list app on my phone and put a new task on my Google calendar for Saturday: “make nutella!”. Now I was committed.
I warned you that there would be non-natural resources/recreation related posts on this blog once and awhile. This is one of those posts. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love ice cream. I adore it. I could eat it for every meal and be a very happy (although obese and unhealthy) person. This year for Christmas my sister and her boyfriend joined forces and bought me an ice cream maker, an awesome recipe book, and adorable ice cream bowls. 🙂
